A big Lion is sleeping. Zzzzz. He is sleepy.

A tiny Mouse runs by. He runs over the Lion’s nose!

The Lion wakes up. ROAR! He catches the Mouse with his big paw.

“Please let me go!” says the Mouse. “I will help you one day.”

The Lion laughs. “You are too small to help me.” But the Lion is nice. He lets the Mouse go.

A few days later…

The Lion gets stuck. He is trapped in a net. He cannot move. He is sad.

The tiny Mouse hears the Lion. The Mouse runs to help.

Nibble, nibble, chomp! The Mouse uses his sharp teeth. He cuts the ropes.

The ropes break. Snap! The Lion is free!

“Thank you,” says the Lion. “You are small, but you are a big helper.”

Now, the Lion and the Mouse are best friends.
